DUBAI: The UAE’s Ambassador to Japan Shehab Alfaheem gave a speech on Monday celebrating the 5oth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relation between the UAE and Japan.
In a video posted on social media, Alfaheem said the UAE was looking forward to strengthening the “very important” relationship between the two countries.
The Ambassador added that the UAE was excited to be back in Japan for the 2025 Osaka Expo, in which the Gulf country will participate.
“[We] look forward to work closely with Japan in the next 50 years,” he said.
In December 2021, the UAE and Japan revealed the official logo for the 50th anniversary, which will be used in the commemorative events that will be held throughout the year in both countries.
