23rd March marks the historic day when the Muslims of sub-continent decided to unite in their democratic demand for a separate homeland, where they could establish and practice their lives in accordance with Islamic values and traditions especially justice, equality, and freedom. Today, therefore, is an important occasion to pay tributes to the struggle and sacrifices of our founding fathers and pledge once more to live up to the ideals that form the foundation of the idea of Pakistan.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have deep rooted brotherly relations; encompassing a wide range of shared strategic, political, cultural and socio-economic objectives. Pakistan wishes to have a valuable partnership with Saudi Arabia, with the guidance and kind support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and Crown Prince HRH Muhammad bin Salman, for the realisation of shared developmental goals.
I would also like to acknowledge the valuable contribution of the vibrant and dynamic Pakistani community residing in the Kingdom. They are a strong link between the two brotherly countries and are serving both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia alike with loyalty, commitment and dedication.
Pakistan Consulate General has always strived to reinforce our community by providing them best possible services. The consular and welfare services have been made more efficient for quick redressal of issues.
I take this opportunity to convey my heartiest felicitations to the fellow Pakistanis residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and extend them my best wishes for their bright future.
Let us pledge to enhance our efforts to further deepen relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and also pray for the security and prosperity of both the brotherly nations.
Long Live Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Friendship!
