The display, which featured an image of Bryant with his daughter, Gianna, who also died in the accident was arranged by Ahmed Bin Sulayem, the Executive Chairman of Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC).
The Emirati businessman is a longtime fan and friend of the late basketball star.
In the wake of Bryant’s death, Bin Sulayem said: “My deepest condolences to Vanessa Bryant, and the family of Kobe Bryant. Number 24 will forever be with us. Here is to my greatest of all time.”
Bin Sulayem brought the LA Lakers’ star to Dubai in September 2013 during his first visit to the UAE.
