🌍 The catastrophic impact of southern Africa's cyclone Idai | Al Jazeera English

Five days after cyclone Idai tore through parts of southern Africa, the full extent of the devastation is slowly becoming clear.
Homes and roads have been submerged or swept away and communities have been cut off.
More than 1.5 million people have been affected.
Agencies are desperately searching for the missing and they’re getting satellite images help from NASA to help them.
The World Food Programme has called it “a major humanitarian emergency that’s getting bigger by the hour”.
